Paul Finebaum Releases College Football Playoff Picks

Paul Finebaum explains why Clemson will lose on First Take. He believes Big Ten football teams will compete for the College Football Playoff in 2017.

The 2019 college football season officially kicked off last weekend with an in-state battle between Florida and Miami. The Gators got the best of the Hurricanes in a come-from-behind win that wasn't pretty.

Hawaii and Arizona followed that up with a thrilling contest that came down to the very last play, literally. Wildcats quarterback Khalil Tate was tackled just short of the goal line, giving Hawaii its first win of the season.

With two big games down, college football analyst Paul Finebaum revealed his College Football Playoff picks.

During his time on Get Up this morning, the "Mouth in the South" held true to his name, picking two SEC programs to make the playoff. He's rolling with Alabama and Georgia to make the playoff with Clemson coming out of the ACC and Michigan coming out of the Big Ten.

Finebaum's Playoff Picks: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Michigan

The SEC homer has been openly critical of Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines, but he thinks this is the year. With Urban Meyer gone, Finebaum likes Michigan to take down Ohio State and win the Big Ten.

Clemson and Alabama are heavy favorites to make the national title game once again.

Can anyone else crash the party?
