ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum has updated his Heisman Trophy rankings following Week 5 of the 2019 season.
Finebaum's new Heisman Trophy top four is quarterback heavy.
The ESPN college football analyst has Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in his No. 1 spot. The Crimson Tide's QB led his team to a blowout win over Ole Miss on Saturday. Tagovailoa now has 1,718 passing yards and 23 touchdowns on the year.
“Tua is No. 1. I think he’s the best player in the country right now, and he’s proving that every single week," Finebaum said.

- Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts
- Ohio State QB Justin Fields
- LSU QB Joe Burrow
There will be some big Heisman Trophy games coming up next month, with Oklahoma playing Texas, LSU taking on Florida and Auburn, and Ohio State playing Michigan State and Wisconsin.
