ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum appeared on Get Up! this morning and offered up quite a prediction for the college football world.
Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer will not be coaching the Buckeyes for that much longer.
That's what Finebaum is sensing, anyway.
“I sense (his time) is coming to an end at Ohio State,” Finebaum said. “This is observational. I’m watching him. Don’t forget the month of August, one of his worst months ever. I still feel like it’s a bad marriage. We're hearing him talk about his health. Most coaches don’t talk about their health unless it’s a very serious situation. I think this is a precursor to him walking away at the end of the season much like he did 6 or 7 years ago at the University of Florida.
“The signs are there.”
Meyer did have a brutal month of August, and he did get medical attention on the sideline against Indiana, but Ohio State's coach has said he plans on being around for a while.
Will Finebaum end up being proven right?
We'll find out soon, apparently.
