He wasn’t impressed with what he saw from the Tigers.
Paul Finebaum wasn’t a fan of what he saw from Auburn on Saturday.
The Tigers, a popular non-Alabama SEC champion pick, fell to Clemson, 14-6. Gus Malzahn’s team put up just 117 yards of total offense.
“I think they’re in trouble,” Finebaum said on SportsCenter.
The ESPN college football analyst went on to say that he was “mortified” by what he saw.
“I just didn’t understand it,” he said. “It’s the same old problem…red zone mistakes. We’ve been watching this for the last four years under Gus Malzahn.”
Auburn’s offensive line was ravaged by Clemson’s defensive line and the Tigers just didn’t have an answer for it.
Malzahn’s team is set to face Mercer next Saturday.
