Penn State Announces Its Sept. 29 Game vs. Ohio State Will Be A 'Whiteout'

Penn State's late September game against Ohio State is a big one. It got a little bit bigger this morning, too.

The Nittany Lions announced on Twitter this morning that its Sept. 29 game against the Buckeyes will be the program's "White Out" game. Beaver Stadium is surely going to be rocking.

Penn State announced the news on Twitter with a video. You can see it below.

Ohio State is very used to being Penn State's "white out" opponent. This is the third time in five seasons that the Buckeyes have been deemed worthy of the game.

OSU was last the "white out" opponent in 2016. The then-unranked Nittany Lions shocked the No. 2 Buckeyes with a 24-21 upset in that contest.

No upsets will be happening this time around. Both Ohio State and Penn State are likely going to be ranked very highly.

Ohio State and Penn State are set to meet at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 29. It's the Nittany Lions' first Big Ten home game of the season.
