The Penn State Nittany Lions still have one game left – and it’s a big one – but let’s take a look at which bowl game the team is currently slotted for by most analysts.
Penn State, which is 10-2 entering this Saturday’s huge game against Wisconsin, has a chance to win the Big Ten Championship. However, most analysts think the Wisconsin Badgers will beat Penn State, and thus Penn State will not make the playoff, or the Rose Bowl.
So if Penn State loses to Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game, the Nittany Lions will be playing in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl.
According to CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm, the best projection right now is that Penn State would take on Western Michigan.
Penn State would likely be favored in such a matchup.
The Goodyear Cotton Bowl is set to take place on January 2. The game will be played in Arlington, TX.
