James Franklin Has Strong Message For Oregon Before Big Ten Title Game

James Franklin has had his struggles in big games since taking over the Nittany Lions program but the Penn State coach seems fired up this one.

Speaking with Jenny Dell ahead of Saturday night's Big Ten Championship game vs. Oregon, Franklin said he and his team are ready for a fight.

"This is gonna be a heavyweight, four quarter game," Franklin predicted. "They're gonna land their blows, we've got to answer with aggression and its going to go back-and-forth all game so be prepared for a four quarter game."

Needless to say... some fans had their doubts.

"Ducks by a million," a user said.

"Time to hate watch Oregon-Penn State. Will James Franklin beat the fraud allegations?" another asked. "Probably not!"

"Can James Franklin win a big game against a higher ranked team with no pressure of being eliminated from the #CFBPlayoff ?" JT The Brick wondered.

"James Franklin is lucky Ryan Day is around just for the fact that he's #2 on the 'universally disliked by every fan base in the conference' list."

"Another signature James Franklin L coming," a fan predicted.

"This game is about to be another James Franklin disasterclass."

Penn State is 11-1 coming into the B1G title game with its only loss coming to Ryan Day and Ohio State back in November.

If Franklin's team can take care of business in this game it would go a long way in silencing some of his doubters.
