The Nittany Lions vaulted into the Top 25 with a huge win over then No. 2 Ohio State. Penn State didn't disappoint in its follow up as the Nittany Lions downed Purdue 62-24. The game was tied 17-17 at the half, but Penn State took over in the second half, mainly thanks to Saquon Barkley's superhero effort.
Iowa got the week off after a close 17-9 loss to Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes are tough to figure out this season, as they have dropped games they should win, and their wins have not been entirely convincing as of late.
The Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes have played 25 times in history, with the Lions holding a 13-12 advantage.
Penn State vs. Iowa prediction:
This game will be close. Although there are still questions about which Iowa team will show up, the one that lost 38-31 to Northwestern, or the one that dominated in its first two games.
Penn State would love to have another Big Ten win under its belt. This game could go a long way to cementing the success the Nittany Lions are finding so far this season. After a suspect opening to the season, Penn State has won four in a row, including impressive wins in three straight.
Nittany Lions running back Saquon Barkley will continue to dominate college football and put up some impressive numbers.
