Selection: Philadelphia Eagles select North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz.

Analysis: For the second consecutive year, the NFL Draft kicks things off with back-to-back quarterbacks. Last year it was Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota - this time around Jared Goff and Carson Wentz.

Wentz spent four seasons at NDSU, starting his last two. He threw for 5,115 yards and 45 touchdowns during his career with the Bison.

At 6-foot-5, 237-pounds, Wentz is the most NFL-ready quarterback in this class. Possessing great feet and a strong arm, the Eagles should be happy with their selection.

The San Diego Chargers are up next at No. 3.
