Houston is getting patriotic for its bowl game. 

The Cougars (7-5) are set to play Pittsburgh (6-6) in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Jan. 2. Both teams will be playing with interim head coaches, as Houston and Pittsburgh will both be sporting new coaches next season in Tom Herman and Pat Narduzzi, respectively. 

For the game, the Cougars will be sporting an American flag-inspired helmet. Check it out:

This isn't the first time Houston has worn this decal.

Houston and Pittsburgh are set to kick off at 12 p.m. E.T. Jan. 2. The game will be televised on ESPN.
