On Saturday afternoon, the Oklahoma Sooners took on the Vanderbilt Commodores in the Big-12/SEC Challenge. The Sooners outclassed the Commodores for much of the first half to the tune of a 41-23 lead heading into the half.
During halftime, a familiar face dominated the cameras. Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts was in the building to watch the Sooners in action on Saturday afternoon and it looks like the Oklahoma faithful was glad to see him.
There was a massive line to meet the former Alabama football star.
Check it out.
Hurts graduated from Alabama in the fall and will be immediately eligible to play for the Sooners when the team takes the field for the 2019 college football season.
After announcing his plans to transfer to Oklahoma, Hurts' odds to win the Heisman jumped - making him the third-favorite behind Clemson's Trevor Lawrence and Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa.
Lincoln Riley and company have produced the past two Heisman winners, so the jump in odds shouldn't come as a surprise. Now the college football world just have to wait over seven months to see what Hurts can bring to the table.
In the meantime, he'll be a celebrity walking around campus like only a true football star can.
