The Miami Hurricanes are hosting the North Carolina Tar Heels in a matchup of ACC foes on Thursday night. In what has become the norm for games hosted at Hard Rock Stadium, there are still plenty of seats available.
Miami pulled off an impressive 2017 campaign and currently sits at No. 16 in the nation, and yet, seats are still empty. A lot of them.
Just minutes before new starting quarterback N’Kosi Perry took the field with the Hurricanes’ offense this photo was snapped of the crowd in attendance.
Check it out.

Miami loves to tout its football program, but the stands at Hard Rock Stadium are rarely packed. Perhaps there’s just too much other entertainment going on in the Miami area for fans to flock to a college football game.
Regardless, the Tar Heels and Hurricanes are off in the first quarter. The game is being broadcast on ESPN where the score is 3-0 North Carolina.
