Rutgers' football program has been having a rough season, one that resulted in the firing of head coach Chris Ash, and it doesn't look like things will be getting better anytime soon. The Scarlet Knights entered today's home game against Liberty as an underdog.

The Rutgers' fan base appears to be done with the program - for now, anyway.

Scarlet Knights fans haven't really shown up for this afternoon's home game against Liberty.

Who can blame them?

Rutgers is 1-6 on the season and is hosting Liberty, an FBS independent, and the Scarlet Knights aren't even favored.

Why would a bunch of fans decide to show up for that?

For those who want to watch this on TV, Rutgers and Liberty are playing on Big Ten Network.
