Photos: Meet Katie George, ACC Network's Sideline Reporter

This season's Thursday night primetime college football slate gets underway tonight with Clemson-Georgia Tech on ACC Network. Fans will also get their first look at Katie George on the sideline.

George comes to the new ACC Network from the Milwaukee Bucks, where she worked as a sideline reporter during the 2018-19 season. She will be a sideline reporter and an anchor at her new home.

While covering the Bucks this past year, George was contacted by ESPN senior talent evaluator Patrick Donaher on Instagram. Donaher pitched her on the job, and after an audition, she earned an offer.

George also worked at WDRB-TV in Louisville as an anchor and sports reporter prior to heading to Milwaukee.

Before her broadcasting career took off, George was actually named Miss Kentucky USA 2015 and finished in the top 11 at the Miss USA 2015 Pageant.

George has an impressive athletic resume of her own. She was a volleyball star at Louisville, earning All-American and Setter of the Year honors in 2015. Additionally, George is a Louisville native, so the move to the ACC Network should suit her just fine. "I have so much pride in being a Louisville native and alumnus of the city's university. To think that I would have an opportunity to return home to cover my alma mater and the Atlantic Coast Conference as a broadcaster just three and a half years after graduating is a dream come true," George said when announcing her new job.
