The Clemson Tigers have been the No. 1 ranked team in the country through the first five weeks of college football. After a close call against North Carolina, we think that changes on Sunday afternoon.
Clemson struggled all afternoon against the Tar Heels, and needed a big defensive stop on a two-point conversion try to prevail. Right now, the Tigers don't look like the best team in the country.
Alabama, meanwhile, looked dominant against Ole Miss. Ohio State also put on an impressive performance against Nebraska, staking its claim.
Despite a lack of upsets, we think there is going to be a decent shake-up this week in the polls.
Here's what we think the AP Poll will look like when it's unveiled on Sunday.
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Ohio State
- Georgia
- LSU
- Oklahoma
- Auburn
- Wisconsin
- Florida
- Notre Dame
- Texas
- Penn State
- Oregon
- Iowa
- Boise State
- Washington
- Utah (playing Washington State tonight)
- Michigan
- UCF
- Michigan State
- Oklahoma State (with win against Kansas State)
- Texas A&M
- Wake Forest
- Virginia
- California
