Projecting What The Coaches Poll, AP Poll Will Look Like After Week 6
Week six of the 2016 college football season featured some wild finishes and one national title contender biting the dust.
Another college football Saturday, another set of crazy finishes. While Alabama and Ohio State held serve in their respective contests, a few other College Football Playoff hopefuls, namely Michigan and Washington, put on dominant performances. Here's what we learned:
- Tennessee staged another incredible comeback, but ultimately fell short in double overtime to a Texas A&M team that looks legit.
- Michigan hung 78 points on Rutgers, and in the process, made it clear it's going to give Ohio State a game in November.
- Washington looked for real in knocking off Oregon.
- Houston's College Football Playoff dreams are over after a loss to Navy.
- Virginia Tech might be back after a 34-3 thumping of North Carolina.
It's important to note that because of the delay of Georgia vs. South Carolina, which will be played Sunday afternoon, the AP Poll has announced that it will not be released until Monday.
