Projecting The AP Poll, Coaches’ Poll After Week 13 Of The College Football Season
Week 13 of the college football season featured arguably the game of the year in Ohio State vs. Michigan. The outcome might really screw over the College Football Playoff committee, too.
Saturday's main storylines? Ohio State edged out Michigan in a classic. Alabama crushed Auburn, finishing the season 12-0. Kentucky finally knocked off Louisville, and in the process, damaged Lamar Jackson's Heisman case. And Clemson dominated South Carolina to finish the regular season 11-1. Here's what we learned:
- Alabama, after another Iron Bowl win, needs to just beat Florida to be the 1-seed in the College Football Playoff.
- Clemson embarrassed South Carolina, and now just needs to win the ACC title game to be part of the field.
- Ohio State didn't win the Big Ten East, but the Buckeyes look like a lock for the Playoff too.
- Wisconsin and Penn State will meet in the Big Ten title game - maybe for a Playoff spot.
