Realignment Talk Wants Notre Dame, UConn To Join The ACC

Here's what one college football aficionado wants to see when it comes to realignment.

Bleacher Report published today a post about college football realignment and the moves that need to happen.

The most-interesting ones have to do with the ACC.

According to the post, there are two teams that need to join the conference: Notre Dame and UConn.

Bleacher Report outlined why it's a winning situation for the teams and the league.

The ACC adds one of the nation’s best overall programs and helps create a 16-team league by pairing the Irish with another addition. Notre Dame gets stability for its program and an easier path to chase national championships.

UConn gets to escape the AAC for the ACC and gains status as a Power Five member. Boston College, Syracuse and Pitt get another former league mate in the fold as the ACC becomes even more like the old Big East.

I'd rather see Notre Dame join the Big Ten, to be honest. Watching the Fighting Irish compete against the likes of Nebraska and Ohio State and Michigan would be pretty cool.
