A Mississippi-based recruit spurned the Bulldogs in favor of Ole Miss.
This is one way to keep a rivalry going. Taekion Reed committed to Ole Miss this afternoon. That news by itself doesn’t seem all that interesting, but the way he committed is making headlines.
Reed picked up a Mississippi State hat, but instead of putting it on his head, he threw it across the room.
New Hope's @Taekion Reed not only picked the Ole Miss hat & signed with the Rebels, he chucked the MSU hat across the room. That's a first! pic.twitter.com/W8wNMO1rXi

According to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Reed is the No. 125 offensive tackle in the 2017 recruiting class and the No. 29 recruit in the state of Mississippi.
Reed committed to Mississippi State on Jan. 13, but signed his National Letter of Intent to Ole Miss is a surprise move.
