4-Star OT Jason Rodriguez Reveals Top 10

Jason Rodriguez is a big 6-foot-6 offensive tackle from out West. The Hesperia, California native stars for Oak Hills High School. He is a four-star composite player in the class of 2019. Today, we learned the top schools for recruit Jason Rodriguez.

247Sports ranks Rodriguez No. 284 in the country, overall. He is the No. 29 offensive tackle, and No. 22 in the state of California. As of now, his recruitment is very West Coast focus. The Pac-12 is well-represented, though a few other big programs sneak in.

Nebraska and Notre Dame are the two unique programs as they are not in the Pac-12. Both programs go out to California pretty often to recruit, so neither is a huge surprise.

In the Pac-12, Oregon, Washington, USC, Colorado, UCLA, Washington State, Utah, and Arizona State make the cut. He says that the schools are in no order.

The 247Sports crystal ball doesn't have a lot of action so far. However, the one prediction in early appears to be pretty off.

One recruiting expert logged a guess back in February. He went with Texas A&M, which didn't make the cut.

Aside from the schools included in his list, Rodriguez has offers from Cal, Florida, and Oregon State, among a number of others. In total, he has 15 reported offers.

Washington currently has the top-ranked 2019 class in the Pac-12. The Huskies have six total commitments so far.

Colorado and Oregon follow the Huskies as of now. Outside of the league, Notre Dame has three commits so far, all four-star players like Jason Rodriguez. Nebraska has landed four pledges in Scott Frost's first year-long recruiting cycle. Any team that lands Rodriguez will be getting a nice boost to its offensive line down the road.
