Report: Alabama DBs Coach Derrick Ansley Leaving The Program

The Crimson Tide assistant coach is leaving the program.

Alabama is losing one of its defensive assistant coaches.

The Crimson Tide's defensive backs coach, Derrick Ansley, is reportedly leaving for a defensive coordinator job.

The Tuscaloosa News reports that Ansley will be taking the defensive coordinator job at Colorado State.

Alabama defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley is leaving the program, The Tuscaloosa News has learned. According to multiple reports Monday morning he’ll be the next defensive coordinator at Colorado State.

FootballScoop.com and The Coloradoan both reported that Ansley’s next stop would be as the defensive coordinator at Colorado State.

Ansley has been at Alabama since the 2016 season. He'll be replaced by Pete Golding.
