Report: College GameDay Headed To Clemson-Texas A&M For Week 2

The College GameDay crew is set to take over South Bend in just under 24 hours. No. 12 Notre Dame hosts No. 14 Michigan in a game with major College Football Playoff implications.

Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, and the rest of the GameDay crew kick off their season at 9:00 a.m. ET. Despite their Week 1 show still hours away, a report surfaced predicting where the crew will head for Week 2.

According to Richard Deitsch of the Athletic, College GameDay will be in College Station next weekend. The Texas A&M Aggies host the Clemson Tigers in what could be a matchup of ranked teams.

Here's the report from Deitsch.

The Week 2 schedule leaves much to be desired. Other enticing matchups include No. 10 Penn State against Pitt and No. 15 USC against No. 13 Stanford.

Texas A&M won its season-opener against Northwestern State by a final score of 59-7. The Aggies rode the legs of running back Trayveon Williams to the tune of 240 yards and three touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Clemson opens its season against Furman on Saturday.

Stay tuned.
