Report: Dalvin Cook's NFL Draft Stock Might Be Dropping

The former Florida State star running back is believed to be a potential first-round pick.

Dalvin Cook was maybe the best running back in college football last year and the Florida State star is believed by most to be a potential first-round pick.

According to a recent report by Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, though, Cook's draft stock seems to be dropping.

"(He) continues to slide in the eyes of several teams because of inconsistent workouts and other troubling off-field issues," Cole reports.

"Teams are not impressed with the group of advisors and marketing people Cook has surrounded himself with," Cole said. "Teams are worried he might not be able to distance himself from questionable people in his past."

Cook, a Miami, Fla. native who declared for the draft following his junior season, totaled 1,765 yards and 19 touchdowns last season.

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay has Cook going No. 24 overall to the Oakland Raiders in his latest mock draft.
