Report: Nebraska WR's Coach Keith Williams Receives Sentence After 3rd DUI Offense

Keith Williams has received his sentence.

Nebraska wide receivers coach Keith Williams received his sentence from a Nebraska judge on Wednesday. Williams pleaded no contest to his third-offense driving under the influence on Wednesday afternoon.

Lincoln police arrested Williams after a car crash on August 14th.

Here are details of Williams sentence, from Lincoln Journal-Star:

A judge sentenced him to 30 days in jail and three years of probation and ordered him to pay a $1,000 fine.

He can apply to serve the 30 days on house arrest, but prosecutors asked that he do the time in jail, noting that he did not serve jail time on previous drunk driving convictions. The judge also revoked Williams' driver's license for five years, but he'll be able to drive with an ignition interlock.

Nebraska suspended Williams for the first four games of the 2016 season as a result of the August 14th car accident.
