Report: Ohio State Players 'Pissed' About Tweet By Micah Parsons

Some Buckeyes are not happy about this tweet.

A lot of people were calling for Ohio State to make a quarterback change on Saturday night.

Among those people: five-star recruit Micah Parsons.

The No. 5 overall recruit in the 2018 class was on his official visit to OSU this weekend. After the Buckeyes' loss to Oklahoma, he tweeted that he thinks the team should make a change at quarterback.

Parsons wants to see former four-star recruit Dwayne Haskins play.

Parsons later apologized, kind of.

According to Land of 10's Jeremy Birmingham, some Buckeye players did not take kindly to his initial tweet.

From Land of 10:

That, in a nutshell, is part of the Micah Parsons recruitment conundrum. Parsons is an elite-level talent, but his excitability — and in some ways lack of maturity — make recruiting him a Catch-22. You just don’t know what you’re going to get. What happened Saturday night is just a teenager making a bad decision and according to sources in Columbus, players in the Ohio State locker room were “pissed” about them.

Parsons, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive lineman, is also highly considering Nebraska, Florida, Florida State and Miami. He'll take an official visit to Lincoln, Neb. in a couple of weeks.

Ohio State is still the favorite to land him according to some.
