Penn State will reportedly have a new offensive coordinator in 2020. Nittany Lions OC Ricky Rahne has reportedly landed a head coaching job.
Rahne, who’s been Penn State’s offensive coordinator for two seasons, has reportedly landed the head coaching job at Old Dominion.
Football Scoop first reported the news.
Old Dominion’s players are reportedly being informed of the hire today.
Ricky Rahne will be the next head coach at Old Dominion, sources told FootballScoop on Monday.
The team will be informed of the hire on Monday afternoon, sources say. A formal announcement will come on Monday evening.
Rahne will be just the second head coach in the history of the Old Dominion program. Founding head coach Bobby Wilder stepped down after 12 years earlier this month.
Penn State has been among the best offensive teams in the Big Ten during Rahne’s tenure. The Nittany Lions went 10-2 this season and are playing in the Cotton Bowl.
