If the Ducks' job opens up, that is.

Scott Frost has been linked to both the Florida job and the Nebraska job, but the UCF head coach could reportedly prefer another one.

SB Nation reports that Frost could prefer the Oregon job if it were to open up.

Frost was Oregon's offensive coordinator before leaving for UCF. Some believe that Oregon's current coach, Willie Taggart, could be eyeing an SEC head coaching gig.

There is a strong level of interest in Taggart at multiple SEC schools. If the Oregon job were to come open, Mullen could be a candidate with the Ducks, who courted the Mississippi State head coach last year.

If the choice arose, Frost might prefer Oregon, where he used to be the offensive coordinator, to Nebraska.

Bleacher Report's Lars Anderson reported earlier this week that Nebraska was "close" to a deal with Frost worth $35 million over seven years.

If he did end up choosing Oregon over Nebraska, that'd be a huge blow to the Huskers.
