A star college football quarterback might be suspended for his team's bowl game next week.

Miami starting quarterback N'Kosi Perry could be suspended for the Hurricanes' Pinstripe Bowl contest against Wisconsin.

Perry has reportedly traveled with the team to New York for the game, though suspension rumors are swirling around the starting quarterback.

Details surrounding the situation are unclear, though Miami's student newspaper reported that a sexually-explicit clip was posted on social media.

From 247Sports:

The rumor is that Perry may be suspended for the bowl game match-up.

The reason for the suspension is unclear, but according to the Miami Hurricane, the student newspaper at UM, Perry posted a video clip of a sexual nature on social media back in November.

According to the report, that clip was passed around by the UM student body during the fall.

Miami and Wisconsin are set to kick off at 5:15 p.m. E.T. on Dec. 27.

The game will be televised on ESPN.
