Rian Davis is a four-star linebacker from Apopka, Florida. He's getting ready to start cutting down his lengthy list of scholarship offers.

Davis spent his last two years playing high school ball in the Houston area. However, he will finish up his career back in his native Florida.

He is set to play his senior season at Wekiva High School. Davis is the No. 38 player in Florida.

247Sports ranks him No. 258 in the country. He's the No. 17 outside linebacker in the class of 2019.

Rian Davis spoke to SB Nation about the direction of his recruitment.

He is getting set to cut his list down to 10. For now, there are three teams that are guaranteed to be there:

Davis wants to commit before his senior season. He is working on a top-10, to be published soon. But he gave SB Nation his three locks which will definitely make his top list.

“Texas, Alabama, and Houston.”

Clemson, Georgia, and Louisville are also mentioned as schools recruiting Davis the most. He also speaks highly of Miami, which he recently visited.

On Saturday, Davis visited Miami for the first time. The Hurricanes want Davis to play linebacker.

“Miami was fun,” Davis said. “The campus was beautiful, the coaches were great, the place was full of energy.”

Davis has 33 total scholarship offers as of now. We should know soon which schools will make this big first cut, aside from the Longhorns, Crimson Tide, and Cougars.
