Rich Rodriguez Reportedly A Candidate For Major College Football Job

Rich Rodriguez isn't happy with a play.

Former college football head coach Rich Rodriguez is reportedly close to landing another major coaching gig.

Rodriguez, who was fired as Arizona's head coach at the end of the 2017 season, is reportedly interviewing for a major SEC assistant job.

Multiple reports have confirmed that Rodriguez has interviewed for the Ole Miss offensive coordinator position.

Ole Miss' 247Sports site had first reported about the possibility.

"Ole Miss OC rumor: Rich Rod in Oxford. Interviewing with Matt Luke this morning," he reported.

Rodriguez, 55, was Arizona's head coach from 2012-17. He led Michigan's program from 2008-10.
