Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, William Mohan is an intriguing athlete who has been garnering offers from just about every major East Coast team. But after making a visit to one program over the weekend, Mohan has decided where he wants to play college football.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Mohan announced that he would be committing to the Michigan Wolverines. The announcement comes following an official visit to the campus this past Friday, as well as a prior visit in April.
I WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM COMMITTING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN
247Sports rates Mohan as a three-star prospect and the No. 415 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 28 athlete in the country, and the No. 3 prospect from the state of New York.
Mohan's interest in Michigan was well-known, as he announced back in April that he was so impressed by the school that he pledged to return at some point.
The addition of Mohan gives Michigan 11 recruits in the Class of 2020. Given that Michigan is currently hosting a massive recruiting weekend, that number could rise even higher by the end of the weekend.
However, the Wolverines still trail Big Ten arch-rival Ohio State as well as Iowa and Penn State in 247Sports' rankings.
Additionally, Michigan is seventh in the conference in terms of number of commitments received so far.
