Rob Gronkowski is heading back to college football.

The former Arizona Wildcats tight end will be the new host of a prominent college football bowl game at the end of this season.

The LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk is the new name for what was formerly known as the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.

"Jimmy was a fantastic host and brought a lot of elements to the game. But it's my turn now, and I'm going to turn it up, that's for sure," Gronkowski said about the game.

The LA Bowl is played at SoFi Stadium, home of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams and Chargers.

The game features teams from the Mountain West and Pac-12 conferences, as it has since Gronkowski played in a previous iteration, the Las Vegas Bowl.

The Super Bowl champion tight end says hosting the game is a full-circle moment, as he remembers playing in the Las Vegas Bowl with Arizona, defeating BYU in 2008.

The winning team in the LA Bowl will continue to receive championship belts, as will the game's offense and defensive MVPs. It's a fitting trophy for a game hosted by Gronkowski, who has made multiple appearances in WWE over the years.

As for adding his own special flair, Gronkowski says fans can expect a special performance from him either at halftime or during the game.
