One of the country's top dual-threat quarterback recruits announced a major commitment this afternoon.

Robby Ashford, a four-star quarterback out of Hoover, Ala., will be staying in SEC Country, but it'll be out of state.

The four-star prospect has committed to Ole Miss.

Ashford announced his commitment on Twitter. He'll be playing both football and baseball for the Rebels.

"This process was far from easy and my decision was based upon where I felt most at home, as well as, which university has my best interest in mind academically and athletically," he announced.

The 6-foot-2 quarterback chose Ole Miss over Auburn, Kansas, Louisville, Mississippi State and Oregon, among other programs.

Ashford becomes Ole Miss' third-highest rated commit in the 2020 class.
