Michigan wide receiver Ronnie Bell has unfortunately been on the receiving end of some despicable criticism following his dropped pass against Penn State on Saturday night. Bell's father took to social media to send a message to those fans.

Bell dropped a touchdown pass that could have tied the game against Penn State late in the fourth quarter. The pass slipped through his hands and the Wolverines, who played poorly for most of the contest, ended up losing.

Most Michigan fans seemed to handle the dropped pass with dignity, though as is the case with any big fan base, there are some lunatics who go too far.

Bell's father shared a message from one of these people. This one comes from a former Michigan student:

Michigan player's father shares message . from fan

Bell's father also posted his own message to the fans that have been crushing his son:

Michigan player's father shares awful mesaage from fan.

Well said, Mr. Bell.

And here's some advice to fans thinking about emailing/tweeting/messaging a player with something critical: Don't.
