Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts has had an incredible season, but he has become a bit turnover-prone the past few weeks. Hurts is struggling against Baylor in the Big 12 title game on Saturday, and one former Sooners star is tired of excuses.
Roy Williams, who starred at Oklahoma and went No. 8 overall in the 2002 NFL Draft, took to Twitter just before halftime to express how disappointed he is in Hurts and the rest of the team’s fofense.
Williams called out Hurts, saying he needs to actually play better – not just tell reporters after games that he needs to play better.
Hurts, at halftime, is 6-of-11 for 127 yards with an interception. The pick led to a Baylor score that tied the game at 10-10.
Tired of hearing after game interviews of “it’s my bad I have to play better” play better my dude. The Defense is handling there business… #SoonerNation

CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma’s star wide receiver, is the only player on the team’s offense that has been able to get much going. He has four catches for 106 yards.
Baylor trailed 10-0 after the first quarter, but has since scored 13 points to take a 13-10 lead into the break.
The second half is about to get underway. You can catch the game on ABC.
