Rutgers vs. Michigan State preview:
Maybe joining the Big Ten wasn't such a good idea. Rutgers has yet to get a Big Ten win this season, and the Knights have lost six straight after starting the season 2-1. A win here against Michigan State would at least begin to salvage a season that has, up to this point, been a nightmare.
Michigan State lost a close one to Illinois last week, making it seven straight losses in a row for the Spartans. It's a shock to the system for a team that made the College Football Playoff last year. Injuries have riddled this team, and it's looking like they might have to start third-string quarterback Damion Terry on Saturday.
The Spartans have won both match-ups versus the Knights since they joined the Big Ten.
Rutgers vs. Michigan State prediction:
Both of these teams are awful, but one of them has to win, and I think it's going to be the Spartans. Rutgers has the worst rushing defense in the Big Ten, and Michigan State will look to capitalize on that with L. J. Scott, who has been carrying the load for the Spartans this season.
