ESPN college football reporter Sam Ponder is from Phoenix, Ariz., where one of this year's College Football Playoff semifinals is being played. Clemson and Ohio State are set to play for a berth to the national title game on Dec. 31 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
