A former Alabama Crimson Tide football player and his girlfriend were reportedly arrested in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Scooby Carter, a four-star defensive back in the 2019 class, and his girlfriend were reportedly arrested on Wednesday. AL.com reports that the couple was arrested on third-degree domestic abuse charges in Tuscaloosa.
Police officers were reportedly called to an apartment at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. An argument had allegedly broken out and police reportedly found probable cause to arrest the couple.
Carter was reportedly in custody on Thursday morning. Bond had reportedly been set at $500.

Carter was a four-star cornerback in the 2019 class. He was the No. 91 overall prospect in the country, per 247Sports rankings.
The former top recruit played in three games as a true freshman in 2019. He entered the NCAA Transfer Portal in late February.
Carter is no longer on the Alabama football online roster.
