Nebraska head coach Scott Frost has announced an update on Huskers running back Maurice Washington, who is not a part of the team this week.

Washington was not listed on the team's depth chart for Saturday's game against Indiana. This is the third time Washington has been punished this season; he missed the start of the season opener and the second half of the Northwestern game.

"You won’t see him being a part of our plans in the immediate future," Frost said today.

It's unclear when or if Washington will re-join the team.

Washington has an ongoing court case, where per Omaha.com he is accused of sending "a 10-second video to an ex-girlfriend depicting the girl, then 15, performing oral sex. Washington was not involved in the sex act and did not record it." Frost said today that Washington's current absence is unrelated to that.

Nebraska is set to host Indiana at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. E.T. on BTN.
