Frost, 42, has been a head coach for less than two seasons. The former Oregon offensive coordinator is in Year 2 at UCF and he has the Knights off to a 7-0 start this season after a 6-7 campaign in 2016.
The former star Nebraska quarterback is also seen as a potential candidate for the Huskers’ gig, should it come open.
