Nebraska head coach Scott Frost didn't hold anything back following the Huskers' crazy win at Illinois on Saturday night. He knows his team needs to play better.

"This team could easily be 4-0 right now, could easily be 2-2," Frost said following Nebraska's 42-38 win at Illinois.

The Huskers overcame a two-touchdown deficit in the second half to take the lead late, only to hold on in a tight one following a missed field goal and a missed pass interference call.

Nebraska dominated Illinois in total yardage, 690 to 299, though the Huskers had four turnovers to the Illini's one.

Eventually, Nebraska's strong play was enough for the win. Frost knows the mistakes need to end, though.

"We can't make those mistakes," Frost said on BTN following the game. "We put ourselves in a hole and were lucky to get out of it."

Next up for Frost and Co. is perhaps the biggest home game of his return to Nebraska.

The Huskers are set to host Ohio State in Lincoln on Saturday night.
