A former 4-star wide receiver made the shocking decision to transfer. Junior wide receiver Nate Craig-Myers has reportedly decided to transfer from Auburn.

It's a surprising decision, given the fact that Craig-Myers started the first three games of the season for the Tigers. According to AL.com, the Auburn coaching staff wanted to get Craig-Myers more involved in the offense during the 2018 season.

Here's more from AL.com:

Junior Nate Craig-Myers, who has been a starter in each of the Tigers' first three games, is transferring and has left the team, according to a report from AuburnSports.com.

Craig-Myers is a former four-star wide receiver from the 2016 class. He was the No. 6 wide receiver in the country coming out of high school and the No. 45 player overall, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

In two games this season, Craig-Myers only has two receptions for 39 yards.

Craig-Myers is likely to redshirt for the rest of the 2018 season. He'll have two more years of eligibility left for the school he transfers to.
