SEC Football Kicker Reportedly Arrested On Saturday

A veteran college football kicker was reportedly arrested on Saturday night, according to a report by the Starkville Daily News.

Jace Christmann, a rising junior kicker at Mississippi State, was reportedly arrested on Saturday night.

From the report:

Mississippi State kicker Jace Christmann was arrested on Saturday according to the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office. Christmann was charged with driving under the influence and failing to dim headlights. He has since bonded out. No further details are immediately available.

Christmann's arrest comes about a week before Mississippi State is set to begin spring football practice.

The veteran kicker has been the Bulldogs' starting placekicker for the past two seasons. He's made 24 of his 30 field goal attempts with a career long of 47 yards. The kicker has been perfect from extra point land, going 83 of 83.
