SEC network college football analyst Greg McElroy released his top 10 teams after week 11.
Former Alabama quarterback and current SEC Network college football analyst, Greg McElroy, knows a thing or two about football. He released his new top 10 after this weekend's slate of games.
Week 11 gave us something that hadn't happened since 1985. The No. 2, 3, and 4 teams all lost, making room at the top for some new names.
Despite losing to Pitt in the final seconds of its game, McElroy has Clemson falling just one spot. Meanwhile, Michigan, which also lost on a last-second field goal, drops outside of a College Football Playoff spot at No. 5. Washington also falls outside of the College Football Playoff after its loss to USC this weekend.
McElroy's rankings show four Big Ten teams in the top eight teams, the most of any conference. According to McElroy, if the season ended today, two ACC teams would be in the College Football Playoff, with Louisville sneaking in after some big losses by other teams.
