SEC Schools Are Trying To Flip Penn State 5-Star QB Commit Justin Fields

The elite dual-threat quarterback is getting a lot of attention from other schools.

The No. 1 dual-threat quarterback recruit in the country is currently committed to Penn State. Will he still be committed to the Nittany Lions at this time next year? Maybe...

Justin Fields, a five-star QB out of Georgia, has been committed to James Franklin's program since last December.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect has shot up the recruiting rankings in recent months and with that, he's getting a ton of attention from other schools. Most notably, some elite programs in the SEC. So, there are some who are starting to question if the Nittany Lions will be able to hold onto him.

Fields name four SEC programs that are recruiting him the hardest in an interview with Rivals.com.

Those schools: Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Georgia.

Fields could end up being a top-five recruit in the 2018 class once the final rankings are out next year.

Holding onto him is critical for James Franklin and Co.
