The 2020 college football season has yet to produce any major college football coach firings. They could be coming soon, though.
Michigan’s football program continues to spiral downward. The Wolverines have now lost three straight games, getting blown out by Wisconsin on Saturday night.
Jim Harbaugh’s team is 1-3 on the season and it’s tough to imagine things getting much better in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the moment. The Wolverines’ head coach was brutally honest after Saturday night’s loss.
“We were thoroughly beaten in every phase, really did not do anything well. Did not play good, did not coach good. Not in a good place with the execution, not in a good place with adjusting…Not a good place as a football team right now, and that falls on me,” Harbaugh told reporters.
FOX Sports 1 analyst Shannon Sharpe believes that time has run out on Harbaugh at Michigan.
“I don’t see a scenario in which Jim Harbaugh is back at Michigan. These are his recruited players and it’s turned into a disaster,” he tweeted.

It’s difficult to imagine Michigan straight-up firing Harbaugh, but the Wolverines could push him out, maybe back to the NFL.
Where do you see Harbaugh in 2021?
