Video: Shea Patterson Looked Like Johnny Manziel Throwing His First TD

Shea Patterson's first career touchdown at Ole Miss was a thing of beauty.

Shea Patterson made the start for Ole Miss on Saturday against Texas A&M with Chad Kelly out with a torn ACL and the true freshman has impressed.

The former five-star recruit and IMG Academy standout has had a strong outing and his first career touchdown was a thing of beauty.

Does that remind you of anyone? Maybe Johnny Manziel? That's a Manziel-esque play if I've ever seen one. Patterson turned nothing into something and got Ole Miss back in the game with the touchdown toss.

Patterson is 20-for-35 on the day for 265 yards one touchdown and one interception. He's also been active on the ground with 23 rushing yards including an early 16 yard run.

Patterson has been impressive in his first ever college football action. Ole Miss trails Texas A&M 21-19 in the fourth quarter on the SEC Network.
