Fox Sports personality Skip Bayless believes Michigan should be in the College Football Playoff.

Skip Bayless is known for his hot takes. But chalk this one down as a lukewarm take. Many across the college football landscape believe Michigan is one of the four best teams in the country.

However, when the selection committee released its final rankings, Michigan found itself at the No. 6 spot. That irked Bayless, who went on a semi-rant about Michigan's omission from the playoff.

Michigan's resume is impressive, but it also features two losses, both of which came in the last three weeks of the season. While the Wolverines trended downward at the end of the season, Penn State trended the opposite.

Bayless hinted at the fact that the Big Ten could have three teams in the College Football Playoff, as the conference had been arguably the best all year.

Their resumes will be debated for a long time to come, but two losses kept the Wolverines and Nittany Lions out of the final four.
