South Florida's season opener didn't go exactly the way it planned. Instead of picking up a statement win over Wisconsin, Charlie Strong and his crew were on the receiving end of a blowout loss.

The Bulls ultimately lost 49-0 to the Badgers on Friday night. It's a brutal start to the year for a program that has shown flashes of potential over the years.

While Jonathan Taylor was the star of the show for Wisconsin, the highlight of the game for South Florida came from one of its fans.

During the third quarter of the game, a South Florida fan displayed his disgust with the team, saying "I'm out."

Considering that the Bulls didn't take a snap in the Badgers' territory until the end of the fourth quarter, it's understandable that fans weren't happy.

Charlie Strong had an interesting assessment of his team's performance. Let's just say that he's not pleased with how the season opener turned out.

“Very disappointing and embarrassing loss,” Strong said after the loss. “No reason for that. Thought I had them ready to play. Guess I didn’t."

South Florida can use a bounce-back win in Week 2 as it faces Georgia Tech on the road.
