Week 4 of the college football season is in the books. We have a new top 10 out from Sports Illustrated.

Each week, SI updates its top 10 rankings. The usual suspects can be found on the list this week, with one surprise.

Kentucky, yes that's right Kentucky, is at No. 10. The Wildcats are coming off a resounding 28-7 win over No. 14 Mississippi State yesterday.

The win moved UK into the Coaches' Poll at No. 17. The AP poll will be out shortly

Here's what SI had to say about the Wildcats:

The Wildcats certainly looked for real on Saturday against a very talented Mississippi State team. Benny Snell carried 25 times for 165 yards and four touchdowns and then responded to the previous week’s Twitter beef with Mississippi State players with some solid Photoshop work.

The full SI top 10 is as follows:

  1. Alabama
  2. Ohio State
  3. Georgia
  4. Clemson
  5. LSU
  6. Notre Dame
  7. Stanford
  8. Oklahoma
  9. West Virginia
  10. Kentucky

Kentucky will have another major test in the SEC next weekend when they play South Carolina.
